Okay, so I am a little late to wish you a Happy New Years, but with the whirlwind of actitivity around here, I have had to neglect my bloggy friends and I am really sorry....but on a favorable note, I have been a better wife and mother during my blog-vacation so please forgive me, my neglected friends!! I'll make it up to you one of these days!
On New Years Eve, we decided to stay home and eat...and then eat some more. Fred and I got Snow Crab legs (we're supporting "Deadliest Catch!) and shrimp to ring in the New Years (thanks to an Acme gift card)...plus we had ham cause I had one defrosted in the fridge I needed to cook. We also did cheese fondue for the kids. We actually saved the seafood for New Years day because we were so full with everything else.
Fred and I spent an "exciting" New Years Eve night catching up on "Big Love", it is a Tv Series on HBO that is about a polygamist and his family. After running around for days plus Fred working 10 hours a day, we were both excited about sitting home by the fire watching TV.
This gave the kids time to play all those video games they got for Christmas...so they were happy too!
I know real exciting stuff, but having so much food in our house is a luxury so we were all quite content!
