There is hope...

Today we saw hope that our budget might finally be in the positive. Our gas budget trumps all of our other bills with the exception of our mortgage...and now it might not. We run and we run and we run.
Collin has an intense schedule with robotics, gifted and talented, tutoring for community service, Academic League, doctor appointments that keeps us running daily. We know he will be driving mid January so we expect that to change soon, but the robotics kickoff the first half of January will definitely be an expensive time! Michael has soccer, and his games can be anywhere across southern New Jersey. I have obligations to my grandparents to do their errands and shopping.
And now gas is below $2 a gallon. We never thought we'd see the day! We know it will most likely go back up with the holidays coming, but today it was $1.97.
Also what a blessing for those who need to order oil. Unfortunately we ordered it a few weeks back when oil was $2.95, I am so sure it is much lower now. But considering how high we thought it was going to be, we feel so fortunate right now.
We know the economy is definitely in shambles right now, but we have a little hope today, and we'll take what we can get.
