YAY, I DID IT!!! (-:

I have been on a sewing kick this week, and I have always wanted to try to make Allyson a t-shirt dress. I have been trying to figure out how to do it, and thanks to google, I found a lot of ideas.

I started with a cheap tank top from Walmart....

And raided my fabric stash ...

So without further adieu, here is the end project...
I made some mistakes so it is truly one of a kind....but I have learned from them. The next one I will make a little longer, and line the skirt part. But all in all, it definately is something she can play in during the summer. So now I am off to Walmart with my grandmom, and I am sure I will end up with another shirt to see if I can do better. The dress looks great. Good job.

I keep thinking that one day I'm going to learn how to sew, but I still haven't gotten around to it yet.
