Thanksgiving Caroling?

Today while doing yardwork, my hubby and I decided we should let the kids have a bonfire while the weather is still warm. We had an exceptionally beautiful day, and my kids love bonfires. So Collin asked if Sam could come, and we told Michael that he could invite a friend.

On the way back from picking up Sam, we were on one of the side streets in our little town, and to our amazement there sat a float...like a float in a parade....lit up with christmas lights. We were in shock trying to figure out what was going on. A float with Christmas lights driving around our neighborhood? As we got closer, we saw it had a huge (fake) turkey on it and a bunch of kids. Maybe they were Thanksgiving caroling....I have no clue what to think????!!!

Strange things like this happen in my town from time to time, and I guess I should mention I live next to a nuclear power plant. YIKES!
