Can I just let you in on a secret?? In 10 days, my stepson will be driving if he passes his "on the road" driving test. 10 days. I have mixed feelings about this.....
I told my husband that I won't be able to sleep at night till I know he makes it home safe. My hubby knows how I like to sleep so he doesn't think that will happen. He knows me well...luckily he is a night owl so he'll be up waiting I am SO sure!
On one hand, I won't have to juggle Michael and my stepson's schedules anymore and that will be a godsend. I won't have to wait outside robotics for a half hour with a cranky sick 2 year old at 9 o clock at night. We won't have to run out for milk everyday cause we can get him to do it(YAY!). We won't have to figure out how to get him from school 2-3 times a week...and he''ll have to get a JOB.
On the other hand, there won't be any long car talks about what is going on in his life. There won't be any hanging out with the robotics team cause he'll go on his own. We won't get to see his friends as much so we won't be in the "know" about things going on. And we'll see him less than we already do cause he'll have to get a JOB.
~I am 10 days away from the freedom of all the running around and that is bittersweet~

I can't imagine!! So crazy.. Although that would be a blessing too! I am so going to take atvantage of my oldest when she starts driving!
